OXNARD, CALIF. (AP) - Dallas Cowboys executive Stephen Jones says it was the franchise’s decision to remove the team name from what is now known as AT&T Stadium.

The home field for Dallas was called Cowboys Stadium its first four years, but Jones said Friday the team felt comfortable that the $1.2 billion facility would still be known as the home of the Cowboys.

The team announced the naming rights deal with AT&T on Thursday.
