Posh New York hotel workers apparently don’t watch the number one rated nonfiction cable television show of all time.
Jase Robertson of A&E’s “Duck Dynasty,” in New York to promote the show with fellow cast members, recounted Wednesday on “Live with Kelly and Michael” how he was mistaken for a homeless man and kicked out of his hotel.
“The first thing that happened to me at the hotel was I got escorted out,” Mr. Robertson said, telling the hosts that it might have been a case of “facial profiling.”
“I asked where the bathroom was and he said, ‘Right this way, sir,’” he said. “He was very nice. He walked me outside, pointed down the road and said, ‘Good luck.’”
Mr. Robertson said he bore no grudge and didn’t cancel his reservation after the incident.
“He just didn’t know, and that’s fine,” he said.
