As part of the “99 percent,” I’m disgusted by the behavior and attitude of the Occupy Wall Street group. I, and a majority of those like me, have no desire to be associated with the protesters.

Instead of anarchy, destruction of property, a desire to confiscate the wealth of others and sense of entitlement, a vast majority of the 99 percent have chosen the rule of law, respect for the property and liberty of others, a motivation to accumulate wealth and a strong work ethic.

Neither I nor a majority of the 99 percent have authorized Occupy Wall Street to represent us. In reality, they offend us more than they do the “1 percent” they disdain.

I suggest there are three groups: the 1 percent that most of us strive to become a part of, the 75 percent to 80 percent whose primary objective is a better life for themselves and their children, and the 15 percent to 20 percent made up of left-wing Occupy protesters and anarchists who wish to transform America from capitalism to socialism.
