Prince George’s County police said Friday they were investigating a killing in Landover.
Officers responded at about 2:27 p.m. Thursday to the 7700 block of Penbrook Place to check on the welfare of a resident.
They found Marcus Anthony Simms, 26, of the 400 block of Montrose Avenue in Laurel suffering from trauma to the body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
