OPINION:

I read the sad column by a Kansas mother who lost her 16-year-old son to a pill containing fentanyl (“A fentanyl-laced pill killed my son,” Web, Nov. 21). On the night of his election victory, Kansas Attorney Gen.-elect Kris W. Kobach stated that “it’s time to get to work tackling the fentanyl crisis.” He also said that “drug traffickers will face consequences for their deadly actions.”

Hopefully other state attorneys general everywhere will join Mr. Kobach’s fight.
