ANALYSIS/OPINION:

It is a pleasure for me to congratulate this gathering and the leadership of Maryam Rajavi.

We express our deep concerns about ongoing human rights violations in Iran. The government of Albania, expelled the Iranian ambassador and three diplomats for their engagements against international law.

I consider very important the resolution No. 118, of the majority in the U.S. Congress in support of the Iranian people’s desire for a democratic, secular, and non-nuclear republic,. which raised the positive and important steps of the Albanian government in expelling the Iranian diplomats.

In February 2021, a Belgium court sentenced Iran’s diplomat in Vienna for his role in planning to plant a bomb in the middle of Europe.

The Iranian people boycotted the last presidential election. Raisi, accused of crimes against humanity, is elected now as president.

With Maryam Rajavi, there is hope that Iran will take its place in the world that it deserves. Thank you.
