A new recruitment video from the CIA is being mocked online by conservatives as being too “woke” after it featured a Latina American officer who described herself as “cisgender” and “intersectional.”

“I am a woman of color. I am a mom. I am a cisgender millennial who’s been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. I am intersectional, but my existence is not a box-checking exercise,” the CIA agent named Mija says in the video.

“My employment was not and is not of a fluke or a slip through the cracks. I earned my way in and I earned my way up the ranks of this organization. I am educated, qualified and competent,” Mija continues in the video. “I used to struggle with impostor syndrome, but at 36, I refuse to internalize misguided patriarchal ideas of what a woman can or should be. I am tired of feeling like I am supposed to apologize for the space I occupy rather than intoxicate people with my effort. My brilliance.

“I am unapologetically me. I want you to unapologetically you, whoever you are. Know your worth, command your space,” she concludes in the video.

The CIA released the video as part of its “Humans of CIA” recruitment campaign on March 25, but it gained attention on Twitter after the agency tweeted a shorter clip Wednesday.

“If you’re a Chinese communist, or an Iranian Mullah, or Kim Jong Un…would this scare you?” Republican Sen. Ted Cruz tweeted Monday. “We’ve come a long way from Jason Bourne.”

“China and Russia Love this,” Donald Trump Jr. tweeted.

Former CIA officer Bryan Dean Wright called the video “propagandist garbage” on Fox News Tuesday.

“This CIA recruitment video is a joke and truly embarrassing for our entire country,” tweeted Meghan McCain. “China, Russia and our enemies are laughing at us.”
