Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said President Trump will be holding a “virtual rally” on his show Friday.
“I’m thrilled to announce that our commander in chief, President Donald Trump, will be right here tomorrow hosting the largest virtual rally in radio history,” Mr. Limbaugh announced Thursday, adding that he’s “really looking forward to it.”
Mr. Limbaugh said more details would be available later on his website, where he said listeners would be able to submit their own questions for the president.
He made the announcement in a prerecorded message at the start of his show, which was guest hosted by conservative commentator Mark Steyn.
Mr. Limbaugh said he was resting Thursday after receiving treatment for lung cancer, which he was diagnosed with in February.
“I am so moved by your support,” he said in the message. “You know that I know and believe that they work. And I cannot tell you how appreciative my family and I are for all of you.”
