Right-hander Stephen Strasburg had the best night ever for a Nationals pitcher on Thursday — as a hitter.

He had three hits in the first five innings with a homer and five RBIs in a game in Atlanta against the Braves. He also started a double play in the last of the fifth inning with his team winning 10-1.

Strasburg was the second pitcher, according to MLB.com, since the DH began in 1973 to have at least three hits with a homer and five RBIs in a game. The other one was Micah Owings of Arizona — he also pulled it off in Atlanta, in 2017.

The last time a pitcher had five RBIs in a game was Madison Bumgarner of Giants in 2014.
