Democrat Elizabeth Fletcher

Elizabeth “Lizzie” Fletcher (b. February 13, 1975, in Houston, TX) is a Democratic member of the U.S. House representing Texas's 7th Congressional District. She is seeking reelection to her current seat. Fletcher was first elected to the House in the general election in 2018. In 2018, Fletcher defeated incumbent Republican John Culberson (Fletcher – 52.5%; Culberson – 47.5%). Fletcher earned her BA from Kenyon College and a J.D. from the College of William & Mary. She went on to work as a lawyer in business litigation. Fletcher is also co-founder of Planned Parenthood Young Leaders.
