Democrat Kendra Horn

Kendra Horn (b. June 9, 1976, Chickasha, OK) is a Democratic member of the U.S. House representing Oklahoma's 5th Congressional District. Horn was first elected to the U.S. House in 2018. She is seeking reelection to her current seat. In 2018, Horn won election by defeating incumbent Republican Steve Russel (Horn - 50.7%; Russel - 49.3%). Horn earned her undergraduate degree from University of Tulsa, Tulsa, OK and a J.D. from Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University , Dallas, TX. Horn worked as a staffer for former U.S. Rep. Brad Carson. Horn as an attorney in private practice and the executive director of Sally’s List, a nonpartisan nonprofit that trains and supports women who run for political office at the state and local level.
