Chris Pappas (b. June 4, 1980, Manchester, NH) is a Democratic member of the U.S. House representing New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District. Pappas was first elected to this seat in 2018. He is seeking reelection to his current seat. In 2018, he won reelection by defeating Republican Eddie Edwards (Pappas - 53.6%; Edwards - 45.0%). Pappas earned his A.B. from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA.. Pappas is a former member of the New Hampshire state house of representatives and Hillsborough County treasurer.
