Republican Russell Fulcher

Russell “Russ” Fulcher  (b. March 9, 1962, in Boise, ID) is a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives representing the 1st Congressional District of Idaho.   He was first elected to the U.S. House in 1998. He is seeking reelection to his current seat. In 2018, he defeated Cristina McNeil (D) and others (Fulcher – 62.8%; McNeil – 30.8%; others – 5.1%). Fulcher earned his B.A. from Boise State University and a M.B.A. from Boise State University, Boise. Fulcher is a former Republican member of the Idaho State Senate, representing District 22 from 2006 to 2014. He served as State Senate Majority Caucus Leader from 2013 to 2014.
