Jim Himes
James A. "Jim" Himes (b. July 5, 1966, in Lima, Peru) is a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives representing Connecticut 4th Congressional District. Himes was first elected to the House in 2008. He is seeking reelection to his current seat. In 2018, he won reelection by defeating Harry Arora (R) (Himes – 61.2%; Arora – 38.8%). He earned his B.A from Harvard University and a M. Phil. from Oxford University. He is the former Commissioner of Greenwich Housing Authority.
