Democrat Greg Stanton

Greg Stanton (b. March 8, 1970; in Long Island, NY) is a Democratic member of the U.S. House, representing the 9th Congressional District of Arizona. He was his first election to the U.S. House in 2018. Stanton is running for reelection to the U.S. House. In 2018, Stanton defeated Republican Steve Ferrara (Stanton - 61.1%; Ferrara - 38.9%). Stanton earned his undergraduate degree from Marquette University and his law degree from the University of Michigan. He was later a lawyer in private practice. Before entering Congress, Stanton served as mayor of Phoenix and on the Phoenix City Council. Stanton was a deputy attorney general of Arizona.
