Republican Jodey Arrington

Jodey C. Arrington (b. March 9, 1972, in Plainview, TX) is a Republican member of the U.S. House representing Texas's 19th Congressional District. He is seeking reelection to his current seat. Arrington was first elected to the House in the general election in 2016. In 2018, Arrington defeated Democrat Miguel Levario (Arrington – 75.2%; Levario – 24.8%). Arrington earned an undergraduate and masters degree from Texas Tech University. After earning his degree, he served as special assistant to President George W. Bush and later Chief of Staff to the FDIC Chairman Don Powell. Arrington went on to be appointed Vice Chancellor of Research and Commercialization at Texas Tech University before becoming President of Scott Laboratories, Inc., a company in the healthcare industry.
