Democrat Vicente Gonzalez

Vicente Gonzalez (b. September 4, 1967, in Corpus Christi, TX) is a Democratic member of the U.S. House representing Texas's 15th Congressional District. He is seeking reelection to his current seat. Gonzalez was first elected to the House in the general election in 2016. In 2018, Gonzalez defeated Republican Tim Westley and Libertarian Anthony Cristo (Gonzalez – 59.2%; Westley – 38.8%; Cristo – 1.6%). Gonzalez earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Aviation and later earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law). He worked as a lawyer in private practice founded the law firm, the Law Offices of V. Gonzalez and Associates.
