Republican Michael Mccaul

Michael McCaul (b. January 14, 1962, in Dallas, TX) is a Republican member of the U.S. House representing Texas's 10th Congressional District. He is seeking reelection to his current seat. McCaul was first elected to the House in the general election in 2004. In 2018, McCaul defeated Democrat Mike Siegel and Libertarian Mike Ryanand (McCaul – 51.1%; Siegel – 46.8%; Ryanand – 2.2%). McCaul earned his undergraduate degree from Trinity University, San Antonio and a J.D. from St. Mary’s University, San Antonio. He worked as a lawyer in private practice and served as deputy attorney general in the office the Attorney General of Texas.
