Republican Frank Lucas

Frank Lucas (b. January 6, 1960, Cheyenne, OK) is a Republican member of the U.S. House representing Oklahoma's 3rd Congressional District. Lucas was first elected in a special election to the U.S. House to represent Oklahoma’s 6th District in 1994. The special election was held to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Democrat Glenn English. The 6th District was later dissolved by the 2000 Census and Lucas was elected to serve the 3rd District in 2002. He is seeking reelection to his current seat. In 2018, he won election by defeating Democrat Frankie Robbins (Lucas - 73.9%; Robbins - 26.1%). Lucas earned a B.S. from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK. He later served as  chairman of Roger Mills County, Republican Party and on the staff of United States Senator Don Nickles of Oklahoma. Lucas is a former member of the Oklahoma state house of representatives. He is also a farmer and a rancher.
