Republican Patrick Mchenry

Patrick McHenry (b. October 22, 1975, in Charlotte, NC) is a Republican member of the U.S. House representing the 10th Congressional District of North Carolina. McHenry was first elected to this seat in 2004. He is seeking reelection to his current seat. In 2018, McHenry won the election by defeating David Wilson Brown (D) (McHenry - 59.3%; Brown - 40.7%). He earned a B.A. from Belmont Abbey College. Prior to his congressional career, McHenry served as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2002 to 2004. He is a realtor by profession.
