Democrat Ruben Gallego

Ruben Gallego (b. November 20, 1979, in Chicago, IL) is a Democratic member of the U.S. House, representing the 7th Congressional District of Arizona. Gallego is running for reelection to the U.S. House. Gallego was first elected in 2014. In 2018, Gallego won reelection by defeating Green Party candidate Gary Swing (Gallego - 85.6%; Swing - 14.2%). Gallego graduated from Harvard University and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is a former Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives. Gallego has served as vice chair of the Arizona Democratic Party and as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention.
