Thomas Massie (b. January 13, 1971, in Huntington, WV) Republican member of the U.S. House representing the 4th Congressional District of Kentucky. Massie was first elected to this seat in 2012. He is seeking reelection to his current seat. In 2018, he won reelection defeating Seth Hall (D) and others (Massie – 62.2%; Hall – 34.6%; others – 3.2%).  He earned a B.S. and a M.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He previously served as a  member of the Kentucky State Senate from 1999 to 2008. He is a business owner and a farmer by profession.
