Ann McLane Kuster (b. September 5, 1956, Concord, NH) is a Democratic member of the U.S. House representing New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District. Kuster was first elected to this seat in 2012.  She is seeking reelection to her current seat. In 2018, she won reelection by defeating Republican Steve Negron and Libertarian  Justin O'Donnell (Kuster - 55.6%; Negron - 42.2%; O'Donnell - 2.2%). Kuster earned an A.B. from Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH  and a J.D. from Georgetown University, Washington, DC. Kuster worked and maintained an adoption practice. and as a public policy advocate at Rath, Young and Pignatelli, P.C. Kuster founded Newfound Strategies LLC, a consulting and training firm that works with nonprofit clients to maximize their effectiveness and sustainability.
