President Trump should be commended for his firing of FBI Director James Comey. It was obvious to anyone paying attention that Mr. Comey had further compromised the FBI during the Obama era by politicizing it with his exoneration of Hillary Clinton. And then when he tried to “set the record straight” just 10 days before the presidential election, he only exacerbated matters.
The fact that Mr. Comey sat on the board of HSBC, the world’s leading money launderer for drug cartels and terrorist organizations (not to mention the Clinton Foundation) only made him that much more of compromised political target.
The next person who heads the FBI should be leading criminal investigations into HSBC and the bank’s tentacle operations designed to kill innocent Americans. He or she should not providing it counsel on how to avert criminal prosecution.
As I see it, Mr. Comey was a dead man walking from day one of the Trump administration. Good riddance.
